I helped a friend organizing a surprice baby shower for his wife. Baby showers are a new phenomenon here in Italy so it wasn't done the traditional way.
Because baby showers aren't common here in Italy, I thought it would be clever to make a diaper cake. I spent hours searching for the right "ingredients", looking for instructions online and putting the cake together and I was pretty proud of the results. The theme of the party was Hello Kitty as you can see.
...Then 3 other people showed up with diaper cakes!
